The fix is in

After some intensive research, collaboration, and phone calls this problem is a thing of the past. The persistent oil leak had been coming from this oil seal that had de-bonded from the circular recess just behind the crankshaft flange.

With replacement parts available, bonding and de-bonding chemicals available, and special tools, this job takes maybe half a day. This job, on the field, in Guatemala…………..well that’s another story.
